Yacht “Leander” on loan to The Queen

M.Y. Leander G is a luxury yacht built by Peene Werft in 1992. The yacht is owned by NCP millionaire Sir Donald Gosling. She is presently the world’s 60th-largest superyacht.
In light of the decommissioning of the Royal Yacht Britannia she has been used by members of the British Royal Family on several occasions.

In a generous gesture by Sir Donald Gosling the Leander was made available to HM The Queen as part of her Diamond Jubilee tour taking her around Great Britain.

Our Question:

Would it not be a suitable tribute by the people of Britain and the Commonwealth to purchase a similar yacht for our Queen – for use by the charities of which she is Patron?
